Mr. Andrew is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Hemophilia Foundation and an adjunct professor for IE University’s graduate finance program teaching portfolio management. Mr. Andrew also served as an advisory board member for the Marquette University Applied Investment Management program, a director for a community development authority, and school commission member for St. Charles School. He mentored undergraduate students in the CFA Global Investment Research challenge for five years. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst, CFA, designation and received a BS in Business and Finance from the University of Minnesota.
Mr. Carroll has over 25 years of experience in the investment arena. Prior to joining Cleary Gull, he was a Senior Portfolio Manager with JPMorgan Private Client Services. Other investment experience includes trading distressed securities for Cargill and managing high yield bond funds for AAL Capital Management and Fortis Advisors.
Mr. Carroll earned both an MBA and a BS in Business from the University of Minnesota. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He is actively involved with the Duke Pride booster club for Whitefish Bay High School.
Prior to joining Cleary Gull, Mr. Henshue held the position of Senior Financial Analyst at MillerCoors where he was responsible for the financial reporting of commodity hedges. He previously worked at CliftonLarsonAllen as a Senior Associate.
Mr. Henshue graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with undergraduate degrees in Finance and Accounting, and a Masters degree in Professional Accounting. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, is a member of the CFA Society of Milwaukee, and is a licensed CPA in the State of Wisconsin.
As a portfolio manager, Mr. Herried works as a team with the Client Advisor and is responsible for building customized portfolio strategies for our clients. This includes investment policy review and development, portfolio construction, manager/security selection and performance reporting. In addition, Mr. Herried is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and leads the Equity Strategy Group.
Prior to joining Johnson Financial Group in 2015, Mr. Herried worked for Associated Bank as a portfolio manager for 15 years, and 17 years for the firm in total. Mr. Herried had portfolio management responsibilities for more than 25 not-for-profit organizations, including hospitals. He also managed the investments of high net worth individuals and retirement plan clients.
Mr. Herried is a Chartered Financial Analyst, CFA, designee and a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Milwaukee. He also has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He is active in his community and currently serves his church as a member of the Endowment Committee and previously served as the church treasurer.
Mr. Hickey brings over 30 years of investment industry experience to his role at Cleary Gull Advisors. Prior to joining Cleary Gull, Mr. Hickey was Managing Director of Investment Banking with Tucker Anthony Sutro Capital Markets where his duties included syndicating and underwriting the firm’s public and private equity offerings.
He is a member of both the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and the Investment Analyst Society of Milwaukee. He is a frequent speaker at investment and business leader forums on topics such as global economics, portfolio management and investment market bubbles. Mr. Hickey received a BS in Economics and his MBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Mr. Hickey has a Commercial, Multi-Engine Instrument rating and is an Angel Flight Volunteer.
As a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and member of the Investment Research Group and Fixed Income Strategy Group, Mr. Mauermann designs fixed income allocation investment strategies for client portfolios. He has more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry with investment experience as a fund manager, analyst and trader.
Mr. Mauermann’s financial career began at Strong Capital Management in Menomonee Falls, WI, working in retirement plan operations and compliance, and then on the investment team as an analyst and trader. From 2004 until joining Cleary Gull Advisors in 2016, he served as fund manager, analyst and trader for M&I Wealth Management (later merged with BMO Global Asset Management).
